Every Wednesday night Vince Patricola, editor of Detroit Electronic Quarterly magazine, has been setting up his turntables at Two James just inside the garage door, which is often rolled up to open the room to the street. Vince delivers an eclectic soundtrack for the night in Corktown with the help of his weekly guests. His vast vinyl collection, knowledge of music and love for our city are reflected in the personality of this weekly party.
Vince has locked down this Wednesday weekly as the night not to miss, especially if you are a vinyl lover. Delivering amazing guests and mixes from a broad range of generations of Detroit talent, and expanse of musical genres, many of them Detroit originals.
To balance out the music vibe is the staff and their skill, both in their profession, and their love for what they do. There also is often a menu offered by some of Detroit’s best pop-ups.
The conversations and occasionally dancing crowd, mostly regulars, create an authentic neighborhood vibe.
