I started to publish a weekly list of events in Detroit on my Facebook page in 2015. The list reflects the Detroit that I love, the Detroit I live…the energy and creativity that brought me here, that keeps me here.
Then I began to share a mix every day by a Detroit DJ that moves me, both young and seasoned. These are the artists that many times get me through my day. Set the mood. Play the soundtrack.
A section with essays that express a sentiment, view, experience that reflects the Detroit that we each love has also been added. These reveal the essence of Detroit that holds us, inspires us. It may be historical, current, forward thinking.
